Surface RecommendationRecommendations for Use The maximum cooking volume is 3/4 of the total capacity of the pots. Position the pot handle toward the center of the burner. On stoves with grates, center the pot over the flame or heat source and align the handle with the grate. Hot pots should be kept out of reach of children. Before first use, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or liquid detergent. After drying, brush the interior surface with oil or fat and heat for a minute or two. Let it cool and wash again. The Starflon pot is now ready to use, with or without oil, and always over low or medium heat (never exceeding 260°C/500°F). Use only silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils for stirring. This product requires only cleaning and is maintenance-free. Cleaning: Avoid immersing hot pots in cold water. Never use abrasive products when washing. In the event of burnt food, soak the area and set it aside until the stuck-on residue can be removed with soap and a sponge. To dispose of the product and packaging, follow applicable recycling guidelines.
