Surface RecommendationUsage Recommendations The maximum cooking volume is 3/4 of the total capacity of the cookware. Position the pot handle toward the center of the burner. On stoves equipped with a grill, center the cookware over the flame or heat source and align the cable with the grill. Hot pots should be kept out of reach of children. Before first use, wash with a soft sponge, neutral soap, or liquid detergent. After drying, grease the interior with oil or fat and heat for a minute or two. Allow to cool and wash again. The Starflon cookware is ready to use with or without fat, always at low or medium heat (never exceeding 220°C). When handling your hot cookware, be careful not to scratch the outer coating. Avoid stains by not allowing grease or food to drip onto the exterior of the cookware. If this occurs, clean the area immediately with a cloth dampened with water. Use only silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils for stirring food. With use, the cable may loosen due to the natural expansion of the material. Retighten sufficiently without forcing.
