The KNIPEX 95 36 315 A is a ratchet action cable cutter designed for cutting steel wire armoured (SWA) cables up to a diameter of 45 mm or 380 mm², such as 4 x 95 mm² cables. It features a three-stage ratchet mechanism for easy one or two-handed operation, precision-ground blades with induction-hardened cutting edges for smooth, crush-free cuts, and insulated multi-component grips that are VDE-tested and certified for use up to 1000V according to IEC 60900 and DIN EN 60900 standards. The tool is sturdy, easy to use, and designed specifically for SWA cable cutting, not suitable for ACSR or wire rope.
