Makita 5402 is a heavy-duty 16-5/16-inch (415 mm) corded circular saw designed for cutting beams, timber, and pressure-treated lumber. It features a powerful 15 Amp motor delivering 2,200-2,300 RPM with a maximum cutting depth of 158 mm (6-3/16 inches) at 90° and 106 mm (4-3/16 inches) at 45°. The saw includes an electric brake for quick blade stopping, a shaft lock for easy blade changes, and a blade stabilizer for consistent rotation. It has a large depth adjustment lever, bevel adjustment from 0° to 45°, and an oversized trigger handle. Included accessories are a 32-tooth carbide-tipped blade, rip fence, hex wrench, and saw storage holder. The saw weighs approximately 14 kg and measures 615-616 mm in length.
